John Himmelreich recently participated with a committee on Emergency Management Preparedness known as "Project Impact." His testimony and input revealed to community leaders that the only natural hazards that do not exist in Colorado Springs are hurricanes and tidal waves. This committee was sponsored by the County of El Paso, the State of Colorado and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and national- level partners.
